Iodine Test Papers
These test papers detect the amounts of iodine in solutions in increments of 0, 12.5, 25, & 50ppm. When using iodine, the proper concentration for a disinfection when using iodine is between 12.5ppm and 25ppm.
Instructions:
- Use dry fingers to remove one strip of test paper form the vial.
- Dip the strip into the solution being tested for 60 seconds without agitation.
- Remove and compare immediately to the color chart while strip is still wet.
- Color comparison will indicate approximate strength of the solution in parts per million (ppm) available iodine.
